Volunteer and Hospitality Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily Hospitality Services operations to ensure core functions meet established guidelines.
• Provide front-line support to patients, visitors, vendors, and staff via in-person, phone, or email communication.
• Coordinate day-to-day volunteer operations, including scheduling, onboarding, placement, and recordkeeping.
• Monitor operational indicators related to volunteer participation and patient experience.
• Support the implementation of volunteer engagement and recognition activities and appreciation events.
• Identify and communicate opportunities to improve customer service and workflow efficiency.
• Ensure consistent execution of system-wide Hospitality and Volunteer Services standards.

Requirements

• Associate Degree or two years of formal training/education beyond the high school level.
• 1–2 years of experience in supervisory or lead roles within a service-oriented environment.
• Demonstrated experience in volunteer coordination, including recruitment, onboarding, and scheduling.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to serve as a primary point of contact for diverse stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a healthcare environment.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Experience using database or program tracking systems.
