Volunteer Advisor

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the Oxfam Hunger Banquet program
• Maintain and update toolkits, training materials, facilitation guides, and brand assets
• Serve as the primary point of contact for program hosts and facilitators
• Execute volunteer-integrated brand and community activation initiatives
• Facilitate volunteer onboarding, scheduling, and readiness for in-person and virtual activations
• Track and analyze participation, engagement, and feedback metrics
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align volunteer roles and messaging

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• 3-5 years of experience in volunteer coordination, community engagement, events, or brand activation
• 2+ years of project management experience
• Experience running volunteer-led or community-based programs
• Proficiency in digital tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Microsoft Suite
• Excellent interpersonal, writing, and facilitation skills
• Ability to work as part of a cross-functional remote team
• Willingness to travel domestically and work occasional evenings/weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience organizing experiential, immersive, or facilitation-based programs
• Familiarity with CRM systems and volunteer engagement tools
• Experience in nonprofit or advocacy settings
• Multilingual skills
