Vocational Teacher - Vehicle and Transport (Car Mechanic)

About the Company

At Yrkesgymnasiet, students learn a trade from the ground up directly at real workplaces. More than half of the training time takes place through workplace-based learning (APL), providing students with practical experience and a head start in the labor market. We also offer international internships and exchanges through Erasmus+.

Responsibilities

• Teach the vehicle and transport program with a focus on car mechanics
• Supervise and mentor students in their professional development
• Act as a bridge between the school, students, and the business community
• Prepare students for their future professional lives through both classroom and practical guidance

Requirements

• Licensed teacher for the vehicle and transport program (car mechanics) OR at least five years of industry experience
• Strong drive to teach and mentor students
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Valid B-driver's license (access to a personal car is preferred)
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Must be able to provide a clean criminal record (belastningsregister) per the Swedish Education Act
