Vocational Program Director

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate a vocational day program site, ensuring efficient development and implementation of services.
• Hire, supervise, and train direct support professionals, providing ongoing guidance and feedback.
• Oversee all aspects of site operations, including medical, financial, and maintenance requirements.
• Monitor program continuity, individual community integration, health, nutrition, and educational/vocational programming.
• Develop and implement individual goals and plans for participants.
• Balance direct care duties with supervisory responsibilities to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in human services or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in human services.
• Proven experience managing vocational programs for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities (IDD).
• Strong communication, documentation, and time management skills.
• Ability to work a schedule of 8:00am-5:00pm.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with working in a fee-for-service environment.
