About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage Vmware data center products
- Monitor health of VMs operating in various datacenters
- Manage replications and VM movements between datacenters
- Manage Disaster recovery testing of the virtualized datacenter using SRM
- Coordinate with various Storage, Network & Security and Server Admin teams
Requirements
- 5-7 years of relevant experience
- VCP-DCV certification
- Hands-on experience with Vmware Datacenter virtualization products
- Experience with Vmware vSphere ESXi and vCenter
- Knowledge of Vmware vMotion, Storage vMotion, High Availability, DRS and Site Recovery Manager (SRM)
- Understanding of Vmware’s integration with EMC Storage
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of various Windows and Linux operating systems
- Ability to quickly adapt to customer environments and learn supporting technologies
