About the role
Responsibilities
- Create engaging customer experiences by sharing expertise in styling, decorating, and entertaining
- Interpret and execute visual inspiration to drive sales and convey the brand's creative spirit
- Implement visual changes and execute floorsets within required timeframes to maintain brand standards
- Replenish the sales floor regularly and maintain compelling visual presentations and displays
- Model and coach associates on upholding visual standards and brand image
- Collaborate with the sales team to foster a positive and respectful work environment
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in a merchandising or visual role
- Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items up to 75 lbs using appropriate safety techniques
- Ability to remain mobile on the sales floor for extended periods
- Effective communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Proven ability to motivate and influence others through personal action
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in home-related design or specialty retail
- College degree or equivalent professional experience
