Visual Inspector

Responsibilities

• Inspect tires from curing presses using sight to ensure they are free of anomalies and meet quality standards
• Perform minor repairs, corrections, or rework on sidewall dust and unpainted tires
• Direct tires to the correct palletizing conveyor to maintain production flow
• Log into systems to track acceptable and irregular tires
• Perform minor resets for the white sidewall protective paint application process
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area in compliance with plant and environmental policies
• Communicate pertinent information and problems to supervisors immediately

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment with exposure to temperature swings and high heat
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 or more years of manufacturing experience
