About the role
Responsibilities
- Inspect tires from curing presses using sight to ensure they are free of anomalies and meet quality standards
- Perform minor repairs, corrections, or rework on sidewall dust and unpainted tires
- Direct tires to the correct palletizing conveyor to maintain production flow
- Log into systems to track acceptable and irregular tires
- Perform minor resets for the white sidewall protective paint application process
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area in compliance with plant and environmental policies
- Communicate pertinent information and problems to supervisors immediately
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment with exposure to temperature swings and high heat
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 or more years of manufacturing experience
