Visual Designer

Responsibilities

• Produce User Interface and Visual Design deliverables including Visual Mockups and Visual Specs
• Ensure team deliverables align with UX Team work plans and program objectives
• Collaborate with BAC Team and SMEs to develop interfaces that comply with usability standards
• Work with Technology Team to ensure UX assets track to platform, browser, and OS specifications
• Coordinate with Content Team to ensure delivery of inputs coincides with UX dependencies
• Obtain stakeholder buy-in for proposed designs

Requirements

• 6 years of experience
• Broad UX project team experience within a user-centered design model
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator)
• Experience in usability design, navigation design, and online content organization
• Knowledge of IA/taxonomy creation and search optimization
• Strong attention to detail regarding design assets
• Excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional designation in web usability principles
• Experience with mobile web and downloadable app design
