Visual Designer

Responsibilities

• Design across various formats including presentations, marketing collateral, digital/social assets, web components, and environmental graphics
• Translate rough concepts, sketches, or written briefs from the Brand Lead into polished, finished designs
• Extend and maintain brand guidelines, templates, and component libraries to ensure organizational consistency
• Own production-level craft including typesetting, layout, color, and file preparation for print and digital
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders in marketing, product, and communications to deliver work that meets specific briefs

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional design experience, either in-house or at an agency
• A portfolio demonstrating strong typography, layout, and systems thinking within an established brand
• Fluency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
• Experience leveraging LLM / Gen AI tools to accelerate asset creation and adaptation
• Ability to work at pace across a high volume of varied requests in an in-office environment (Palo Alto or San Francisco)
