Visual Designer

About the Company

A1 is building a proactive smart assistant for everyday users to bring intelligence to conversations, errands, organizing, and workflows. The mission is to create AI-native applications that handle multi-step reasoning and real-world task completion with high reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design the visual language, design system, and UI components across web and mobile
• Create visual patterns to help users parse AI-generated content and understand system states
• Design for information density and hierarchy in dynamic AI interfaces
• Work with product and UX designers to translate interaction flows into polished visual designs
• Build and maintain a design systems that supports speed, consistency, and clarity
• Define visual standards for error, empty, loading, and task states
• Contribute visual assets and design specs for engineering implementation

Requirements

• Experience as a visual or UI designer with a portfolio of web or mobile products
• Strong skills in typography, color, layout, and visual hierarchy
• Proficiency in Figma and experience with design systems
• Ability to design for dynamic content and variable AI outputs
• Understanding of accessibility standards, legibility, and contrast
• Comfort designing under ambiguity in fast-moving teams
• Awareness of how visual cues communicate AI system behavior and trust
