About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop multimedia plans that support strategic communications objectives
- Lead photography and videography shoots from concept to execution
- Manage pre-production tasks including outlines, scripts, and storyboards
- Execute post-production editing for audio and visual materials, optimizing content for social media
- Produce promotional and outreach materials and design graphic elements for digital media
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders for story development and cross-promotion
- Maintain a comprehensive repository of digital media records
Requirements
- Advanced College Diploma (3 years) in interactive media, multimedia digital design, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in photography, videography, audio production, and graphic design
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, InDesign, Audition, etc.)
- Expert knowledge of sound and lighting design, color grading, and audio mixing
- Advanced experience with DSLR cameras, mixers, microphones, and other video production equipment
- Experience with livestreaming and virtual event technologies (e.g., Zoom, YouTube, Instagram)
- Knowledge of AODA accessibility guidelines and digital media best practices
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and project management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Related work experience in a post-secondary environment
