About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach three courses within the McGeorge Global Lawyering Skills program, covering legal research, writing, and oral advocacy
- Instruct GLS I (Fall, 1L), GLS II (Spring, 1L), and GLS III (Fall, 2L)
- Engage with a collegial, student-oriented faculty to support student success
- Participate in the academic community of the McGeorge School of Law
Requirements
- Juris Doctorate (JD) or equivalent degree
- Excellent written communication skills
- Technological competence
- Ability to work onsite in Sacramento, CA
Preferred Qualifications
- Exceptional academic record
- Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures
- Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting
- Ability to integrate culturally responsive practices into teaching
- Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to the mission of the law school
