About the role

Responsibilities

  • Teach three courses within the McGeorge Global Lawyering Skills program, covering legal research, writing, and oral advocacy
  • Instruct GLS I (Fall, 1L), GLS II (Spring, 1L), and GLS III (Fall, 2L)
  • Engage with a collegial, student-oriented faculty to support student success
  • Participate in the academic community of the McGeorge School of Law

Requirements

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) or equivalent degree
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Technological competence
  • Ability to work onsite in Sacramento, CA

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exceptional academic record
  • Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures
  • Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting
  • Ability to integrate culturally responsive practices into teaching
