About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate financial accounting courses at the Introductory and Intermediate levels
- Teach one section of Analysis of Corporate Financial Statements cross-listed at the undergraduate and graduate levels
- Conduct basic or discovery research
- Engage in departmental service activities as appropriate
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Accounting (or candidates in the final stages of dissertation)
- Twelve years of college teaching experience
- Ability to teach introductory and intermediate financial accounting
- Ability to teach analysis of corporate financial statements
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in public accounting and/or industry
