Visiting Professor in Psychology

Responsibilities

• Teach and advise undergraduate students within the Department of Psychology
• Instruct undergraduate courses in research methods and statistics
• Supervise student research projects
• Develop course content and materials that support learning outcomes and departmental requirements
• Prepare, administer, and grade assignments and examinations in a timely manner
• Maintain appropriate office hours and provide timely communication to students
• Participate in departmental activities and the broader college culture
• Utilize instructional technology including Blackboard and other required platforms

Requirements

• Master's degree in Psychology or a related field (Ph.D. or Psy.D. preferred)
• Strong knowledge of psychological theory, research, and practice
• Ability to teach statistical software such as SPSS and/or R
• Proven ability to design and deliver engaging, inclusive instruction
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
• Commitment to academic integrity and institutional policies

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctoral degree with experience teaching multiple areas of psychology
• Experience with active learning methodologies
• Experience teaching diverse student populations
