Visiting Faculty Teaching Fellow in Chemistry

Responsibilities

• Teach organic chemistry I & II and general chemistry lecture and lab courses for the health sciences.
• Engage in faculty development and mentoring opportunities for undergraduate chemistry teaching.
• Attend departmental meetings and chemistry seminars.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation.
• Contribute to departmental assessment goals.
• Perform research or engage in scholarship, with or without student involvement.

Requirements

• MS in Chemistry (preferably organic chemistry) or a PhD candidate/ABD in Chemistry.
• University-level teaching experience (lecture or lab).

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD in Organic Chemistry.
• Specific experience teaching organic chemistry lecture courses.
