Visiting Faculty, AI and Systems Co-design Team

Responsibilities

• Conduct pathfinding research across AI hardware, software, and algorithms
• Identify opportunities for research through collaboration with the team and broader Meta organization
• Share research results internally within Meta and publish findings externally
• Bring the latest industry ideas to Meta by inviting leading researchers and sharing advances through presentations
• Guide teammates on pathfinding research initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field
• Tenure-track or tenured faculty status in Computer Science or related fields
• Demonstrated publication record reflecting expertise in theoretical and/or empirical research
• Relevant research experience in AI hardware, software, or algorithms
• Ability to obtain and maintain work authorization in the country of employment

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven track record of achieving significant results via publications at leading workshops, journals, and conferences
• Experience with grants and fellowships
• Experience driving research at the team level in large-scale ML Systems/Compiler, AI Accelerator, and/or Distributed Systems
