About the role
Responsibilities
- Support clinical research activities including protocol implementation, management, and data cleaning
- Conduct participant visits, including anthropometric measurements and complex testing
- Execute the informed consent process and monitor participant status and compliance
- Develop and implement strategies for participant recruitment, screening, and retention
- Maintain detailed records of results, vitals, and measurements, and document adverse events
- Assist investigators with literature reviews, data preparation, and meeting presentations
- Coordinate patient treatment schedules to ensure adherence to study protocols
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in nursing, mental health, psychology, pharmaceutical sciences, social science, or a related field
- Minimum of two years of research-related experience or a relevant Master's degree
- Proven experience in a clinical research setting
- Experience working with Federal Regulations and Institutional Review Boards (IRBs)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and multitasking skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) designation
- Knowledge of clinical trial aspects such as screening, interviewing, and case report forms
- Experience with clinical tasks such as phlebotomy and centrifugation
- Proficiency with REDCap, EPIC, or appointment scheduling software
- Experience with medical terminology, electronic medical records, and billing
