About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging, student-centered graduate courses in school counseling
- Develop course syllabi, assignments, and assessments aligned with program outcomes
- Provide mentorship and academic advising to graduate students
- Support student field placements and coordinate placement activities
- Collaborate with faculty to assess and enhance curriculum
- Support CACREP accreditation efforts through documentation and continuous improvement
- Participate in departmental, school, and university meetings and assessment activities
Requirements
- Earned terminal degree (Ph.D. or Ed.D.) in Counselor Education from an accredited institution
- Demonstrated effectiveness in teaching at the graduate or undergraduate level
- A personal commitment to the Christian faith and the integration of faith and learning
- Knowledge of CACREP accreditation standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years of K–12 school counseling experience
- Eligibility for school counseling certification in Washington State
- Experience with data-informed decision-making in educational settings
- Active membership in relevant professional organizations (e.g., ASCA, ACA)
