About the role

Responsibilities

  • Teach beginning and intermediate Spanish language courses at the undergraduate level
  • Manage a teaching load equivalent to 6 courses during the academic year (3 courses per semester)
  • Implement effective, empathetic, and innovative language teaching methodologies

Requirements

  • Native or near-native fluency in Spanish
  • Ph.D. preferred, though ABD candidates will be considered
  • Proven experience in undergraduate language teaching

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience teaching Heritage Speakers
