About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach beginning and intermediate Spanish language courses at the undergraduate level
- Manage a teaching load equivalent to 6 courses during the academic year (3 courses per semester)
- Implement effective, empathetic, and innovative language teaching methodologies
Requirements
- Native or near-native fluency in Spanish
- Ph.D. preferred, though ABD candidates will be considered
- Proven experience in undergraduate language teaching
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience teaching Heritage Speakers
- Experience teaching Spanish for the Professions
