Visiting Assistant Professor of Life Sciences

Responsibilities

• Teach Anatomy & Physiology I and II lecture and laboratory sections
• Support students within the Nursing and Athletic Performance programs
• Contribute to the collaboratively-created curriculum for introductory life science courses
• Mentor and advise students to support their academic success
• Maintain a secure and safe laboratory environment while handling biological specimens

Requirements

• Master's degree in Biology or a Life Science-related field
• Minimum of one year of undergraduate teaching experience
• Demonstrated ability to be an excellent teacher
• Proficiency in Google or MS Office Suite
• Experience with Brightspace LMS
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Commitment to contributing to a climate of equity and inclusion

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctorate or doctoral candidate with a scheduled completion date by August 1, 2026
• Experience teaching Human Anatomy and Physiology lecture and/or lab
