About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach Anatomy & Physiology I and II lecture and laboratory sections
- Support students within the Nursing and Athletic Performance programs
- Contribute to the collaboratively-created curriculum for introductory life science courses
- Mentor and advise students to support their academic success
- Maintain a secure and safe laboratory environment while handling biological specimens
Requirements
- Master's degree in Biology or a Life Science-related field
- Minimum of one year of undergraduate teaching experience
- Demonstrated ability to be an excellent teacher
- Proficiency in Google or MS Office Suite
- Experience with Brightspace LMS
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Commitment to contributing to a climate of equity and inclusion
Preferred Qualifications
- Doctorate or doctoral candidate with a scheduled completion date by August 1, 2026
- Experience teaching Human Anatomy and Physiology lecture and/or lab
