Responsibilities

  • Teach law school courses as assigned, including required subjects such as Property I and II, Legal Writing, Legal Research, and Academic and Bar Success courses
  • Provide course and classroom conduct in accordance with the Faculty/Staff Policy Manual
  • Conduct regular office and conference hours for students
  • Submit textbook requests and engage in ongoing professional development
  • Participate in annual faculty evaluations and attend commencement activities
  • Promote the mission of Lincoln Memorial University to students, faculty, and the community

Requirements

  • J.D. degree from an accredited law school
  • Bar membership in any U.S. jurisdiction (active or inactive)
  • Superior academic record
  • Practical legal experience and/or teaching experience
  • Commitment to incorporating innovative teaching methods, including technology and practical skills
  • Dedication to the mission of LMU Law
