Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in Economics, such as Statistics, Microeconomics, and Macroeconomics
• Develop course materials and integrate modern technology into instruction
• Provide academic advising and mentorship to students to support learning outcomes
• Conduct independent and collaborative research in the field of Economics
• Present research findings at professional conferences and meetings
• Participate in departmental service, including committees, curriculum development, and program assessment

Requirements

• M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Economics from a full-time, accredited institution
• A research-based degree with a strong focus on statistics and quantitative analysis
• Demonstrated ability in undergraduate teaching and student mentorship
• Strong analytical capabilities and effective communication skills
