About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach seven courses per year following a 3-1-3 format
- Deliver introductory-level courses including "Cells & Genes" and "Cellular Processes"
- Teach 200-level courses in Genetics and Molecular Biology
- Engage in teaching and mentoring excellence within a liberal arts environment
Requirements
- Ph.D. in the biological sciences
- Demonstrated expertise in cellular or molecular biology
- Strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and student mentorship
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous teaching experience at the college level
- Ability to work effectively within a liberal arts curriculum
