Visiting Assistant Professor of Biology

Responsibilities

• Teach seven courses per year following a 3-1-3 format
• Deliver introductory-level courses including "Cells & Genes" and "Cellular Processes"
• Teach 200-level courses in Genetics and Molecular Biology
• Engage in teaching and mentoring excellence within a liberal arts environment

Requirements

• Ph.D. in the biological sciences
• Demonstrated expertise in cellular or molecular biology
• Strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and student mentorship

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous teaching experience at the college level
• Ability to work effectively within a liberal arts curriculum
