Responsibilities
- Teach the Human Anatomy and Physiology two-course sequence
- Teach upper-division biology courses at the undergraduate level
- Hold regular student office hours to support learning
- Attend regular department meetings
Requirements
- Ph.D. in biology or a related discipline (required for Assistant Professor level) or a Master's degree (required for Instructor level)
- Strong academic background in anatomy and physiology
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Commitment to using effective and inclusive teaching methods
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous teaching experience at the undergraduate level
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate discussions across diverse perspectives
