Visiting Assistant Professor in Spanish

Responsibilities

• Teach four classes per semester, including elementary, intermediate, and upper-level Spanish courses
• Support the Spanish major, program, and general education language requirements
• Plan lessons, assignments, and grade student work
• Post syllabi and grades in a timely manner
• Respond to student inquiries and manage classroom administration

Requirements

• Master's degree in Spanish
• Demonstrated commitment to the mission of Covenant College

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Spanish from a regionally accredited institution
• Teaching experience and an interest in connecting coursework to the local Spanish-speaking community in the Chattanooga area
