About the role

Responsibilities

  • Teach courses in American Corrections, Community-Based Corrections, and Juvenile Delinquency
  • Develop and teach additional courses within areas of interest aligned with departmental needs
  • Maintain a standard teaching load of 21 credits across fall and spring semesters
  • Provide evidence of effective teaching and a commitment to service that supports the University mission

Requirements

  • Master's degree in criminology, criminal justice, or a closely related field
  • ABD status is eligible for application
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (immigration sponsorship is not offered)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in a relevant field
  • Previous teaching experience in an academic setting
