About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach courses in American Corrections, Community-Based Corrections, and Juvenile Delinquency
- Develop and teach additional courses within areas of interest aligned with departmental needs
- Maintain a standard teaching load of 21 credits across fall and spring semesters
- Provide evidence of effective teaching and a commitment to service that supports the University mission
Requirements
- Master's degree in criminology, criminal justice, or a closely related field
- ABD status is eligible for application
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (immigration sponsorship is not offered)
Preferred Qualifications
- Ph.D. in a relevant field
- Previous teaching experience in an academic setting
