Visiting Assistant Professor, Chemistry

Responsibilities

• Teach an average of 12 contact hours per semester of lecture and/or lab courses for majors and nonmajors
• Instruct general chemistry for science majors, GOB courses for allied health students, and general education chemistry for non-science majors
• Participate in ongoing professional development in chemistry, chemical education, and the scholarship of teaching and learning
• Engage in departmental service, including committee involvement and new course design

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Chemistry or a closely related field
• Minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in chemistry
• One academic year of college-level teaching experience as the primary instructor in chemistry or a closely related field
