Visiting Assistant Professor, AI and INSY

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in the graduate and undergraduate Information Systems (INSY) and Applied Artificial Intelligence in Business (AIBU) programs
• Instruct in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Business Analytics, Database Management, and IT Innovation
• Support the design and development of new undergraduate and graduate programs, including MBA and certificate offerings
• Provide student advising and mentoring
• Interface with industry partners to promote and support academic programs
• Contribute to the College and University through meaningful service engagements

Requirements

• Earned doctorate or a terminal degree
• Five years of teaching or professional experience in a relevant field
• Proficiency in Python programming
• Strong knowledge of Machine Learning and Generative AI

Preferred Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence, Information Systems, or a closely related discipline
• Demonstrated teaching experience at the university level
• Strong research potential or a proven publication record
• Experience with emerging technologies such as Blockchain and advanced analytics
