Vision Jet Pilot in Command

Responsibilities

• Conduct charter and special mission medical flights in accordance with company procedures and mission objectives
• Operate in full compliance with the General Operations Manual (GOM) and FAA Part 135 regulations
• Review upcoming missions to ensure safety, efficiency, and proper mission planning
• Participate in monthly and quarterly safety and training events with hospital partners
• Prepare the aircraft for daily operations, ensuring cleanliness and readiness of mission-critical supplies
• Monitor and evaluate weather forecasts and changing conditions throughout all phases of flight
• Complete all pre-flight requirements including weather briefings, weight and balance, and performance calculations
• Collaborate with the Program Manager and client director on new initiatives and training events

Requirements

• ATP with ASEL endorsement
• Minimum 1,500 hours total time (fixed-wing)
• Minimum 200 hours in single-engine complex aircraft
• Valid driver’s license and current U.S. passport
• First-Class Medical Certificate
• Ability to pass a criminal background check with no FAA violations or accidents
• Active participation in a DOT Drug & Alcohol Testing Program
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
• Must reside or be willing to relocate within one hour of FLL Airport

Preferred Qualifications

• Vision Jet type rating
• Bachelor’s degree in Aviation or Management
• Previous Part 135 experience
• Experience in turbojet or two-pilot crew environments
• FAA Part 135 or flight instructor experience
