Virtualization Administrator Consultant

Responsibilities

• Provide systems administration for enterprise VMware vSphere solutions and maintain virtualized environments.
• Monitor everyday systems, evaluate server resource availability, and perform all activities for VMware vSphere software.
• Configure and deploy virtual machines, including installation and backup of configuration procedures.
• Maintain and monitor patch releases, designing various installation strategies to meet program standards.
• Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 troubleshooting support, interfacing with end users and technical teams.
• Collaborate with the DAN Network Team to perform upstream network management.
• Monitor system performance and ensure strict compliance with security standards.

Requirements

• US Citizenship is required.
• Active Top-Secret (TS) Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance with SCI eligibility.
• ITIL4 certification (or ability to obtain within the first 90 days of hire).
• Possession of at least one of the following: CompTIA Cloud+, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+, GICSP, SSCP, or GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC).

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor’s degree.
• 3+ years of related experience with a Master’s degree.
• Experience working within a Department of Defense (DoD) environment.
