Virtualisation System Admin

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second level technical support for incidents and problems
• Monitor overall system performance to ensure smooth functionality
• Create, maintain, and utilize technical documentation
• Assist in building compliance with organizational processes and policies
• Implement standards and procedures for continual service improvement

Requirements

• Experience working within ITIL best practices
• Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies
• Proficiency with Windows Server (2016/2019) and Active Directory
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Knowledge of Red Hat products (RHEL, CentOS, Satellite, or OpenShift)
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, LAN/WAN)
• Ability to use PowerShell scripting for automation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with VSAN, SCVMM, or Hyper-V
• Proficiency in Bash, Python, or Git
• Familiarity with McAfee EPO/ENS
