VIP Cocktail Server

Responsibilities

• Anticipate and respond to guest needs in a high-end VIP environment
• Provide expert beverage service, including making recommendations and suggestive selling
• Communicate drink orders accurately through the Point of Sale (POS) system
• Deliver drinks and food by maneuvering trays through large, crowded areas
• Maintain cleanliness of tables and work areas, including clearing dirty dishes and cleaning spills
• Ensure responsible alcohol service by verifying identification and monitoring guest intoxication levels
• Process cash, credit card, and other payment transactions according to company policy
• Maintain professional grooming standards and adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience serving in an upscale dining or nightlife venue
• Working knowledge of cocktail tray service, drink recipes, and POS systems
• Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification (or equivalent)
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including late hours
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to interact professionally with diverse guests and handle intoxicated patrons in a safety-minded manner

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a live music or concert environment
• Basic knowledge of wines, spirits, and mixology
• Previous experience with cash handling and ID verification
