Video Quality Specialist

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate digital video content for quality assurance
• Troubleshoot technical video and audio playback issues
• Identify technical trends and propose short and long-term solutions
• Respond quickly and decisively to emerging technical issues in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain accurate records and data using spreadsheets

Requirements

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) or British Sign Language (BSL)
• 2-4 years of experience working with digital video
• Strong technical knowledge of common digital video and audio issues
• Background in video editing
• Proficiency with spreadsheets
• Ability to work onsite in Austin, TX on a Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday schedule

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of subscription video content services and their product offerings
• Professional or advanced proficiency in an additional language
