About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform video editing and post-production including sound design, graphics, and special effects
- Create content optimized for social media platforms, YouTube, and digital advertisements
- Capture video content including b-roll from campus events, labs, and interviews
- Manage digital assets and archive RAW footage and completed projects
- Assist in managing the University’s YouTube Channel
- Produce course preview videos for online graduate programs
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in an Editor position
- Proficiency with Mac computers and Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects)
- Experience with FinalCut Pro
- Proficiency in operating DSLR cameras, lighting, and lenses
- Knowledge of color grading, LUTs, and log footage
- Ability to craft project outlines and storyboards
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Adobe Certified Professional or Certified FinalCut Pro Editor
- FAA Part 107 license/Remote Pilot Certificate
- Experience with Digital Asset Management and SEO optimization
- Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools
