Video Production Assistant

Responsibilities

• Develop unique video content including hype videos, postgame reports, press conference recaps, and previews
• Create engaging content for YouTube, social media channels (Facebook, X, Instagram), and stadium video boards
• Generate new ideas for social media videos and live production elements
• Assist with file management, including video logging and post-game organization
• Research promotional strategies of peer organizations to integrate new content ideas
• Support the curation of the Lafayette Athletics brand by increasing non-gameday content

Requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut X
• Experience in live sports production
• Strong post-production background
• Social media savvy with an understanding of digital trends
• Knowledge of JVC Pro cameras and filming non-live events
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Adobe After Effects
• Experience with NewTek products (Tricaster, 3 PLAY, NC I/O) or SimplyLive
• Knowledge of Sony and Canon cameras
