Video Editor

Responsibilities

• Use editing tools to create high-quality content for Newscast and Digital platforms
• Apply creative production techniques, including graphics and new media formats, to enhance storytelling
• Collaborate closely with news producers, reporters, photojournalists, and the digital team
• Produce captivating and shareable content tailored for television, social media, and mobile platforms

Requirements

• Knowledge of non-linear editing systems including Edius, Premiere, and Photoshop
• Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining high quality
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Must be able to work early mornings, nights, and weekends
• Interest in broadcast and digital news content
• BA/BS degree preferred
