About the role
Responsibilities
- Edit and deliver multiple short-form videos daily for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
- Reformat long-form content like streams and podcasts into viral micro-content
- Design engaging thumbnail concepts, on-screen copy, and dynamic text animations
- Scout on-camera talent via freelance networks, vendor platforms, or talent agencies
- Partner with internal Account Management, Creative, and Production teams
- Liaise and negotiate with external vendors including camera rental houses and freelance crew
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in an MCN, digital agency, or production house
- Proficiency in CapCut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, or Canva
- Strong understanding of short-form video storytelling and viewer retention hooks
- Experience managing high-volume video production workflows and digital assets
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects under tight deadlines
- A portfolio showcasing published video content or editing work is required
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Knowledge of copyright-safe music sourcing and audio cleanup
- Familiarity with AI-powered editing tools
- Strong stakeholder management skills
