Responsibilities

• Edit high-quality content daily across short-form (Instagram, TikTok), medium-form (explainers), and long-form (YouTube, podcasts) formats
• Own end-to-end production including shooting, editing, and publishing content
• Manage the NYC studio setup, including camera, lighting, and audio equipment
• Iterate on content formats based on retention and performance data to drive social growth
• Utilize AI-assisted workflows to increase production speed and efficiency
• Partner with the content team on thumbnails, captions, and format strategy

Requirements

• 5+ years of video editing experience across various formats
• In-house experience at a company (not solely agency or freelance)
• Deep fluency in Premiere Pro and After Effects
• 2+ years of motion graphics animation experience
• 2+ years of video shooting experience (camera, lighting, audio)
• Proven portfolio of engaging, high-quality content
• Ability to execute with minimal guidance
• Marketing-first mindset focused on driving business results

Preferred Qualifications

• Podcast production experience (multi-cam, remote recording, studio workflows)
• Comfort being on camera or coaching others on camera
• Familiarity with wealth management, personal finance, or B2C content
• Deep understanding of video trends and social media algorithms
