Video Editor

Responsibilities

• Edit high-performing short-form (Reels, TikTok, Shorts) and long-form (YouTube, training) video content
• Optimize pacing, cuts, and structure for engagement and retention
• Add motion graphics, titles, and lower thirds using tools like After Effects or Canva
• Perform audio cleaning, noise reduction, and leveling
• Execute color correction and grading for brand consistency
• Export and optimize content for multiple platforms and aspect ratios
• Collaborate with marketing teams and iterate based on feedback via Frame.io
• Monitor performance metrics like watch time and CTR to improve future edits

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional video editing experience
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
• Experience with audio syncing, cleanup, and color correction
• Ability to meet deadlines consistently
• Understanding of hooks, retention, and storytelling techniques

Preferred Qualifications

• Motion graphics experience using Adobe After Effects
• Experience editing paid advertisements and brand storytelling content
• Understanding of engagement metrics and content performance
• Background in SaaS, agencies, or e-commerce
