Video Editor

Responsibilities

• Lead the editorial vision for custom branded content, corporate initiatives, and original series for Setlist.fm.
• Act as lead editor for client-facing pitch materials, promotional content for sponsors/artists, and interview-based editorial pieces.
• Provide creative producer support for video shoots at music festivals, concert events, and in-studio interviews.
• Supervise edits for Setlist.fm shows, providing creative feedback and ensuring quality control and timeline adherence.
• Collaborate with producers, motion designers, audio specialists, and colorists to uphold post-production best practices.
• Manage multiple large-scale projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience editing and producing digital or video content, ideally within the music or entertainment industry.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Audition.
• Deep understanding of video production workflows, including scripting, shooting, post-production, VFX, and delivery.
• Solid understanding of video/audio formats, codecs, and file management.
• Basic knowledge of ProTools and Da Vinci Resolve for conforming media.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage clients and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in branded storytelling or working with major media platforms.
• Ability to travel for remote location shoots at music festivals and concert events.
• Proficiency with production tools such as Google Workspace and Keynote.
