Video Editor

Responsibilities

• Edit raw video footage and audio files into a finished product
• Add music, sound effects, and other elements to enhance the video
• Collaborate with the producer and director to understand project goals
• Create motion graphics and incorporate visual elements
• Ensure final products meet quality standards and deadlines
• Manage project files and archives for efficient organization
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders
• Handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

Requirements

• Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer
• Knowledge of video compression, encoding, and delivery standards
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with motion graphics software like After Effects
• Bachelor's degree in film, video production, or a related field
