Video Editor Intern

Responsibilities

• Edit video assets from raw footage through polished first and second cuts for paid media and organic social channels
• Support pacing, sequencing, and storytelling structure under the guidance of senior editors and Art Directors
• Edit and balance dialogue, music, and sound effects to a professional standard
• Create multiple versions of assets, including different aspect ratios, lengths, and captions for platform-specific needs
• Incorporate feedback from internal stakeholders efficiently across multiple revision rounds
• Use AI tools as a creative assistant to accelerate assembly, captioning, and versioning
• Organize and manage project files, footage, and assets within team workflows

Requirements

• A reel or website demonstrating edited video work (school projects and personal work are welcome)
• Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro
• Basic understanding of video formats and platform-specific specifications
• Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a film, media, or related program
• Ability to take direction and iterate quickly based on feedback
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Adobe After Effects
• Prior experience editing content specifically for social platforms or paid media
• Exposure to AI-assisted editing tools or workflows
