Responsibilities
- Lead the editing process from rough cuts to polished final exports
- Act as a key creative voice during pre-production and post-production
- Work closely with producers and other team members to execute project visions
- Stay on top of trends, editing techniques, and YouTube best practices
- Provide constructive feedback to junior editors
- Work extended hours as needed to meet high-impact deadlines
Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years editing YouTube content with massive view counts
- Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Deep understanding of pacing, narrative structure, and emotional engagement
- In-depth knowledge of YouTube's algorithm and audience retention strategies
- Robust portfolio showcasing standout YouTube projects
- Ability to lead in high-pressure environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in frenetic lifestyle and prank content
- Familiarity with analytics tools to optimize content performance
- Previous experience managing a team of editors
Benefits
- Salary: $100,000 - $110,000 DOE
