Video and Media Production Intern

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end video production by collaborating with the creative team to brainstorm, storyboard, and refine scripts.
• Assist with live production setups, including the configuration and breakdown of professional camera, lighting, and audio equipment.
• Execute post-production workflows, including assembling rough cuts, color correction, audio balancing, and integrating visual elements.
• Maintain media asset management by organizing and archiving raw footage and project files within a Google environment.
• Adapt and resize video assets into multiple formats and aspect ratios for web, social, and internal platforms.
• Participate in creative feedback loops to iterate on video drafts while maintaining brand alignment.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree or program in video and media production or a relevant field.
• Demonstrated experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Foundational knowledge of video production mechanics, including composition, exposure, and three-point lighting.
• Ability to capture clean secondary audio.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
• Submission of a portfolio or demo reel showcasing editing style, pacing, and visual storytelling.
• Ability to work in-office in Austin, Texas, 3-5 days a week for the duration of the 12-week internship.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic proficiency in motion graphics and asset creation using Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop.
