Vice President/Director, Capital Formation

Responsibilities

• Originate, drive, and close new LP commitments across institutional, family office, wealth management, and high-net-worth channels
• Manage the full fundraising cycle including prospect mapping, sourcing, nurturing, and coordinating diligence
• Partner with investment leadership to refine fund positioning and tailor messages to different LP segments
• Prepare and customize fundraising materials such as presentations, DDQs, RFPs, and portfolio analyses
• Build and maintain a high-quality pipeline and CRM discipline
• Leverage relationships with gatekeepers and intermediaries like consultants and private banks
• Represent the firm at LP meetings, conferences, and industry events

Requirements

• 6–10 years of capital-raising experience in venture capital, private equity, or private credit
• Demonstrated experience raising capital from Endowments, Foundations, Pension Funds, or Family Offices
• BS/BA degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
• Strong project-management and communication skills
• Ability to synthesize complex information for sophisticated institutional audiences
• Experience in technology investing or a keen interest in technology

Preferred Qualifications

• Existing, relevant LP network with ability to convert interest into commitments
• Proficiency in financial analysis and portfolio/track record analytics
• Understanding of emerging technology trends
