About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop practical frameworks to encourage consistency, accountability, and strong leadership practices across multiple locations
  • Advise senior leaders on sensitive employee matters, operational risk, and workforce planning
  • Lead labor strategy, including negotiations, contract administration, and dispute resolution
  • Oversee high-level employee relations matters, such as investigations and workplace concerns
  • Identify patterns and recurring concerns affecting retention, morale, or operational performance
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team focused on workforce relations and organizational support
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership through organizational change and complex people-related situations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 15+ years of senior-level experience in labor relations, employee relations, workforce strategy, or HR leadership
  • Deep knowledge of employment legislation and labor practices
  • Proven success managing confidential, high-impact organizational matters
  • Strong background in labor negotiations and workforce risk management
  • Exceptional executive presence with the ability to influence senior leadership
  • Experience managing complex workforce environments across multiple locations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting large-scale operational organizations
  • Graduate degree or advanced professional certification
  • Strong track record of developing and mentoring teams
  • Experience building scalable employee relations frameworks
  • Background leading workforce initiatives in unionized environments

Benefits

  • Base salary range: $160,000 to $280,000 (depending on experience)
