Vice President, Trading Systems Developer

Responsibilities

• Provide cross-cutting solutions in support of multiple businesses including OTC, Market Making, Prop, and Systematic Trading
• Design and build high performance trading systems for market data ingestion, order routing, and execution
• Minimize latency, maximize throughput, and ensure deterministic performance across critical trading workflows
• Leverage AI tools and automation to improve productivity and decision-making

Requirements

• Excellent core Java skills
• Extensive experience in Java Application and Garbage Collection optimization
• Exceptional knowledge of concurrency and multithreaded programming
• Experience developing low latency pricing and trading systems
• Knowledge of low latency messaging such as Aeron or 29West
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/UDP, multicast, routing, and switching
• Experience with kernel bypass technologies like DPDK, Solarflare/OpenOnload, or RDMA
• Familiarity with Linux internals including scheduling, memory management, and performance tuning

Preferred Qualifications

• eFX development experience in a low latency, zero GC environment
• Knowledge of institutional encodings such as FIX or SBE
• Experience with fault tolerant, high availability, and distributed computing
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS
