About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead AvePoint’s Strategic Sales segment in North America, driving growth across a portfolio of large, complex enterprise accounts
  • Coach, develop, and lead a high-performing team of strategic sellers
  • Partner directly with sellers on the largest, most strategic pursuits, including executive engagement and deal strategy
  • Build and reinforce a culture of disciplined enterprise selling using qualification frameworks
  • Expand AvePoint’s footprint within existing strategic accounts through cross-sell and upsell opportunities
  • Engage C-level and senior decision-makers to articulate business value
  • Partner cross-functionally with Solution Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing, and RevOps
  • Drive operational leadership including weekly forecasting and quarterly business reviews

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise software or SaaS sales
  • 5+ years of sales leadership experience in quota-bearing environments
  • Proven success selling or leading teams through large, complex deals ($500,000+ or seven-figure ARR)
  • Strong executive selling capability and track record of engaging senior buyers
  • Experience in enterprise technology categories like data security, backup, governance, or cloud SaaS
  • Strong command of pipeline management, qualification, and forecasting
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in backup, DSPM, security/data, or infrastructure
  • Experience in high-growth SaaS or category-defining platform businesses
  • Exposure to partner/channel-influenced sales motions
  • Familiarity with MEDDPICC, MEDDIC, or Challenger methodologies
