Vice President, South-Central Regional Underwriting Manager, CML

Responsibilities

• Provide direct management and over-authority for the South Central Commercial Management Liability underwriting team.
• Underwrite Private and Public Company Directors and Officers (D&O), Employment Practices Liability (EPLI), Fiduciary Liability, and Crime insurance.
• Evaluate individual risk characteristics to determine capacity, attachment points, terms, and pricing.
• Set, track, and report monthly budgets with zonal oversight.
• Maintain and enhance existing broker relationships while developing new ones within the South-Central region (Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, New Mexico, and Arkansas).
• Develop and execute marketing plans to retain existing business and capture new opportunities aligned with the division's risk appetite.
• Participate in account discussions and negotiate with internal and external business partners.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of Professional lines Underwriting experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Established Retail and Wholesale network relationships within the South Central marketplace.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly, including monthly travel to Dallas if based in Houston.
