Vice President, Securities & Derivatives Lead Analyst

Responsibilities

• Process orders and transactions originating from trading desks and branch offices to facilitate clearance, settlement, and investigation.
• Ensure satisfactory completion of daily project operations for existing and new clients while meeting all regulatory requirements.
• Develop, implement, and track appropriate KPIs and SLAs for the group.
• Recommend and implement new systems and enhancements to securities processing procedures.
• Provide in-depth analysis and develop solutions for issues related to securities processing or hedge fund activities.
• Conduct discovery and due diligence activities with clients to meet their specific needs.
• Assess service quality, identify areas for improvement, and advise or coach junior personnel.
• Manage risk by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

Requirements

• 6-10 years of relevant experience in financial operations.
• Subject matter expertise in at least one area of Securities and Derivatives processing.
• Advanced knowledge of hedge fund activities, including Net Asset Value (NAV) calculation, corporate actions recording, and cash/holdings reconciliation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent university degree.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
